Pulmonic Stenosis sound (Murmur)

The intensity of the murmur ausculted is flow dependent and has a crescendo-decrescendo shape (diamond shaped) to its phonocardiogram. The degree of turbulence depends on the severity of obstruction. Murmurs of low to moderate intensity usually have a distinct S1 and S2 heart sound. The distinct S1 and S2 heart sounds are not commonly ausculted with severe pulmonoc stenosis. Pulmonic stenosois may radiate to the right of the thorax.
