Supraventricular tachycardia/Atrial Tachycardia Sound
Horseheartfrontfabit

In this phonocardiogram and ECG you see two normal beats followed by one ventricular premature contraction (VPC), then a burst of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) initiates. This rapid rhythm coupled with an abrupt onset and termination of the tachycardia would support atrial tachycardia (AT). Based on auscultation alone, it is not possible to determine if this is SVT or VT (ventricular tachycardia). All you would here is rapid, regular rhythm.
